Hey if y'all are interested UFC 111 is tonight and the main fight is St-Pierre vs Hardy for the welterweight championship but the most important fight to us is the second main fight which is Frank "look at the gay man in the" Mir vs Shane Carwin (who Brock was gonna fight before he got ill) and this is for the interim heavyweight championship. So the winner of this fight will get a shot at the real heavyweight champion Brock. The fight is scheduled for sometime mid summer like UFC 100 was. So this got me thinking that we should (once we figure out the fight date) throw another UFC party somewhere!! I was thinking if things work out that I'll make my mom go to Iowa for the weekend of the fight and that way we could have it at my place with no parents (Strusz, I'll make her bring Leo too!!) This way we can get some alcohol and have the hookah going and y'all could just crash at my place and what not. I know its a ways away but lets all try and be there...cough...AC...!!! The deal announced Sunday covers the 2011-2018 seasons and includes a full no-trade clause. It's the culmination of a monthslong negotiation between the Twins and their hometown star.

Mauer has won three AL batting titles and an MVP award. He is considered one of the best defensive catchers in the game. Last year he hit .365 with 28 home runs and 96 RBIs to help the Twins win the AL Central division.
